Many consider Amsterdam the denim capital of Europe. Born and raised here, we've been part of the Amsterdam denim scene for over a decade. A key fabric of our brand, our design team lives and breathes all things denim, and our Amsterdams Blauw styles are part of every collection. Named after a historic blue hue used to paint Dutch ceramics, our own Amsterdams Blauw colour accents our denim line representing craftsmanship and our Amsterdam roots.

At Scotch & Soda, expertise comes from working together and learning from each other, and denim is no exception. Partnering with renowned mills such as Candiani in Italy and Orta in Turkey, we source and develop the best fabrics – such as Japanese selvedge or exclusive jacquard designs – exploring new techniques, turning our designs into reality, for you to wear and love.

We team up with leading manufacturers and experts to produce our jeans and denim pieces, always paying attention to quality, details and responsible design.

All our denim styles are signed off with our signature branding, including the three crosses stitched on the back pocket – a nod to the St. Andrew's crosses of Amsterdam.
